Outcomes:
This Bereavement Seminar is designed to explore various aspects of loss, grief, bereavement and mourning. It will describe the different types of grief as well as physical, emotional, behavioral/cognitive, social and spiritual symptoms of grief. Also, it will assist in identifying strategies to help people who are grieving, as it reviews components to comprehensive assessment, various models of grief, and necessary skills for working with bereavement clients. Finally, a general overview of guidelines and services that are typically offered will be discussed and will highlight valuable resources that will assist with providing a successful bereavement program.

The cost for this all day seminar is $200.00 for members & $250.00 for non-members.
The cost for basic training only or the advanced training only is $100.00 for members and $125.00 for non-members.
No late fee!
There are no refunds, however substitutions are welcome.
This seminar provides 7 Social Worker CE hours.

Upon completion of this course each attendee will be required to complete an evaluation. Each participant will then receive a certificate. Each attendee must complete the entire course to receive CE credits. Certificates will be distributed to attendees upon signing out of the seminar. Missouri Hospice & Palliative Care Association, #1359, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) www.aswb.org, through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Missouri Hospice & Palliative Care Association maintains responsibility for the program. ASWB Approval Period: 2/28/20 – 2/28/23. Social workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval for continuing education credits. Social workers participating in this course will receive _7_ continuing education clock hours.
